Integration System Architect Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) Location: Stevenage Working: Hybrid (2 days per week on-site) Take on an exciting role as an Integration System Architect within the SDAS function, where you’ll be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge solutions for air platform integration. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of high-impact internal and external programmes, contributing to the development of future international standards and systems. The Role: As an Integration System Architect , you’ll design and implement integration solutions for air platforms, from early concept stages to delivering prototypes. Your role will involve system architecture definition, evaluating future technologies, and addressing emerging technical issues. This dynamic position offers the chance to shape system integration and collaborate with cross-functional teams on innovative defence projects. What You’ll Be Doing: Develop and deliver system architecture solutions for cutting-edge air platform integration. Work across all project phases, from concept scoping to the delivery of prototype systems . Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders , including Design Authorities and Aircraft Authorities . Use tools such as DOORS and Rhapsody for system architecture development. Solve technical issues, ensuring airworthiness , certification , and meeting environmental requirements . What You’ll Bring: Proven experience in developing complex systems, preferably in the defence industry . Strong systems thinking skills, with the ability to lead trade studies and manage requirements. Experience with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) and practical implementation. Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of aircraft airworthiness , certification , EMC , and the UK MOD acquisition process is highly desirable. Why Join?
