Job Title: Plumber - Social Housing Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Hay Mills Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Construction Salary: £23 - £24.50 Per hour Job Duties: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in social housing properties Detect faults in plumbing systems and carry out necessary repairs Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Provide excellent customer service to residents Work collaboratively with other tradespeople when needed Fixing leaks Replacing taps Cisterns Toilets Sinks Baths Minor repairs Required Qualifications: Proven experience as a plumber in a social housing setting Relevant plumbing qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing) Valid CSCS card Full UK driving licence Education: Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent training programme Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a plumber in social housing Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of plumbing systems and components Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Excellent problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work Preferred Qualifications: Gas Safe registered Experience working with renewable energy systems Working Conditions: Work primarily conducted in social housing properties Potential exposure to hazardous materials Travel between different sites may be required Physical demands including lifting and working in confined spaces
