P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking Production Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Role Summary:
Due to continued growth our client has an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join their team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manufacturing and testing electrical and electronic assemblies.
* Comprehending electrical wiring diagrams.
* Following company build and test procedures.
* Assembly of systems, sub-components and panel wiring.
* Utilising Oscilloscopes and other electronics test equipment.
* Testing, fault finding and repairing basic Printed Circuit Boards to component level.
* Assembly, wiring, testing and fault-finding modules at system level.
* Assembly and inspection of underwater pressure vessel seals and connectors.
* Generation of technical reports on faulty & damaged items.
* Undertaking light mechanical assembly.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role essential.
* Ability to work safely and organised in a production environment.
* Willingness to develop practical and technical skills.
* Demonstrate a good working understanding of products at system level.
* Have sufficient working knowledge of PC/IT based systems: MS Office, supplier websites, HyperTerminal etc.
* Ability to work as an individual on systems and sub-assemblies.
* Demonstrate a good working understanding of products at system level.
Working hours:
* Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 (In busy period, these hours may change)
