Electrical Project Manager

Oversee the end-to-end operational delivery of electrical projects, covering all aspects of health and safety, technical standards, financial oversight, and team management. Lead projects from the bid stage through to completion, focusing on profitability, quality service, and compliance with company standards. Collaborate closely with internal departments, including planning, commercial, and safety, to ensure a seamless project experience for the client. Key Responsibilities * Health & Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety-first by embedding safety practices in all activities and ensuring visible commitment to health and safety standards across the project lifecycle. * Policy Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, procedures, and industry standards, maintaining the clients standards, benchmarks and exceeding client expectations. * Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership for the project delivery team, promoting team development and optimizing individual contributions for overall project success. * Bid Participation: Support senior management in bid processes and work with the Business Development team to align projects with business goals. * Financial Management: Contribute to accurate budget planning based on initial contract objectives, continually identifying actions to maximize project profitability. Regularly monitor contract financials to ensure objectives are met. * Project Reviews: Participate in monthly project reviews to keep senior management informed about project status, including completion progress and financial updates. * Project Execution: Manage all project-related activities, ensuring successful and timely project completion within budget constraints and quality standards. * Client Relationship Management: Maintain positive client relationships by delivering projects efficiently, with a focus on fostering future opportunities. Qualifications and Skills * Education & Certification: Apprenticeship or relevant electrical qualifications; CSCS – Black Card; SMSTS. * Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, with a track record of managing projects valued over £2 million. * Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of various electrical systems and installation methods. * Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. * Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to evaluate project metrics and financials. * People Management: Strong people management abilities to inspire and lead the project team effectively
