Your new company
You will be joining an established utilities contractor based in the Birmingham area working on multi-utility schemes for high-profile clients. This organisation offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development as well as the opportunity to work on an array of exciting projects. Having secured an additional £30m worth of work on top of their already healthy order book, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their team.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be based in the Birmingham area and be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Managing and coordinating direct labour and subcontractors on multi-site projects
- Conducting site visits and inspection to ensure compliance with safety regulations and specifications
- Providing regular project updates and reports to senior management
- Ensuring alignment with project goals and industry standards
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site at all times
- Collaborating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring schemes are delivered safely on time, within budget and to expected quality.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience of managing civil projects from inception through to completion on power/electrical contracts
- CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
