ADAS/Autonomous Engineer - Driving & Parking Systems Engineer

Main Objectives of the ADAS/Autonomous Engineer:
- Deliver ADAS driving and parking systems in line with the Project Description Brochure.
- Define, test, and validate systems to meet cost, weight, timing, and quality targets.
- Achieve engineering sign-off for all systems related to driving and parking assistance.
Key Responsibilities of the ADAS/Autonomous Engineer:
- Design Development (Driving & Parking Focus):
- Lead the design and development of ADAS driving and parking features (adaptive cruise control, lane assist, automated parking).
- Define requirements and support validation of sensors, cameras, radar, and control systems.
- Manage the release and change process for these systems.
- Project Delivery:
- Plan and manage ADAS system development, reporting progress on driving and parking systems.
- Collaborate with suppliers and ensure cost-effective integration of these features.
- Problem Solving:
- Address complex technical challenges, including sensor integration, system malfunctions, and communication issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for ADAS and parking system failures and suggest solutions.
- Specialist Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with ADAS technology for driving and parking assistance.
- Capture learning from prior projects and ensure cutting-edge integration with group partners.
- Teamwork:
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless integration of ADAS driving and parking systems.
Key Qualifications of the ADAS/Autonomous Engineer:
- Experience with ADAS, autonomous driving, and parking assistance systems.
- Expertise in sensor technologies (ultrasonic, radar, camera) for driving and parking.
- Familiarity with functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity in automotive applications.
