Operations Manager

We're looking for an Operations Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Location: South Yorkshire, Sheffield - can offer some working from home. 

Hours: 45 hours per week – we are able to consider condensed hours.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Operations Manager, you'll be working within the Severn Trent Water team, supporting them in the successful delivery of a large programme of work as part of our Framework Agreement with Severn Trent Water.

Your day to day will include:

• Be an example to always promote the highest standards of HS&E.
• Think strategically when integrating complex or conflicting analysis from a range of sources to provide balanced advice.
• Development of strong team working relationships with peers in Operational, Commercial, and Engineering teams and other Support Functions within the organisation.
• Develop a delivery strategy for the programme of works within your portfolio, promoting environmental group strategies in our delivery.
• Provide leadership and effective culture, to promote high professional standards and best practice across all functions.

What are we looking for?

This role of an Operations Manager is great for you if:

• Full understanding of current H&S Legislation, water law & water regulation and the environment & sustainability.
• Proven ability in delivering business objectives at a strategic level.
• Proven experience in developing best practice in a like-minded role.
