Position: Learning Support Assistant Location: Camden Daily rate: £85- £105, depending on experience. Start Date: ASAP About the Role: I am recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant with robust behaviour management skills to support a Year 2 class immediately. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing one-to-one and small group support to students who may present with behavioural challenges. Your focus will be to promote positive behaviour, enhance learning outcomes, and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in implementing tailored behaviour management strategies to foster a constructive and engaging classroom atmosphere. Support individual students and small groups, adapting your approach to meet their unique learning and behavioural needs. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistent, positive approaches to behaviour. Use your creativity and resilience to adapt quickly to dynamic situations, ensuring each student feels understood, supported, and encouraged. About You: Experienced: Background working as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role, ideally with a focus on behaviour management. Strong Behaviour Management: Demonstrated ability to implement effective strategies to guide students in a positive, supportive manner. Empathetic & Patient: Able to build meaningful relationships with students, fostering trust and respect.
