Teacher of Design Technology Location: Oxfordshire Start Date: January 2025 We are looking for an innovative and passionate Teacher of Design Technology to join a well-respected secondary school in Oxfordshire. This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire students while fostering their creativity and technical skills in design and engineering. As a Teacher of Design Technology, you will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5. You will develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards while igniting students' interest in electrical and mechanical design. Your role will involve using a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles, ensuring all students can thrive in a dynamic learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Design Technology or a related field. - A proven track record of successful teaching with a passion for inspiring students in electrical and mechanical engineering. - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical principles, and the design process. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. - A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
