HGV Class 2 HIAB/Grab Driver

We are looking for a skilled HGV Class 2 HIAB/Grab Driver to join our client, a leading builders' merchant in Southall. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality service as the company expands. Position Details: * Salary: £34,250 (dependent on experience) * Bonus: Up to £2,400 per annum * Annual Leave: 20 days, plus 5 days at Christmas and bank holidays * Hours: Full-time, 44.5 hours per week * Contract Type: Permanent * Location: Southall Key Responsibilities: * Operate a HIAB or grab lorry to deliver and collect roofing materials. * Maintain the vehicle to high safety standards. * Achieve operational targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). * Provide accurate daily reports for effective communication. * Ensure a safe working environment by following regulations. * Assist site staff with loading and unloading materials. Ideal Candidate: * At least 3 years’ experience driving HGVs. * Valid HIAB licence * Valid Digital Tacho card and Driver CPC required. * Crane/HIAB knowledge is a plus but not essential. * Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Customer-focused with a proactive attitude.
