Teaching Assistant

Classroom support are excited to be working with a Primary School in Bexley who are looking for a General Teaching Assistant to work in KS2 (between years 4 and 6) and for a November start. The school has a number of pupils that have SEN support needs and are looking for a strong TA who can work in class but also support small groups of SEN children with Interventions. The main requirements of the role are below; - Confident and comfortable in leading Interventions in with small groups of pupils. - Experience of working in KS2 preferred. - Any experience of supporting children with SEN including ASC/ADHD and of managing challenging behaviour effectively advantageous. - Being somebody, that meets the school ethos of having a positive and can do attitude. The rate of pay is £85 - £90 per day for the right candidate. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm (term time only).
