We are looking for a warm and friendly, experienced Receptionist to join our team. Due to the current renovations at The Sloane Club, you will be a part of an exciting future that requires a knowledge of 5-star service and passion for the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
Whenever possible to anticipate guests needs, to be aware of all written and spoken requests, to carry out these requests in a courteous and helpful manner. To have a full understanding of Opera systems would be beneficial To display a pro-active and innovative approach to skills development and standards enhancement with your team. Ensure communication procedures are effective and efficient on a day-to-day basis, so that service standards are not compromised. Actively develop positive and effective communication between the Reception, Housekeeping and F&B teams. Ensure that you and all team members have a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest and special events and where further information can be obtained. To be able to act with initiative, planning for the future and possible consequences. Being pro-active in getting things done and exceeding expectations of both members/guests and colleagues where possible. To develop interactive member/ guest relations and to be aware of any possible future requirements.To relay such information to your manager for the enhancement of member/ guest expectation. Operate the hotel switchboard and deal with all internal and external calls, according to procedure. To display and fulfil positive service style.
