Science Teacher (2ic) Location: Greenwich Salary: £36,745 - £56,959 per annum Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Are you an experienced and passionate Science Teacher looking for your next challenge? We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher (2ic) to join a dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school in Greenwich! As the Science Teacher (2ic), you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Science and leading the department to new heights. Responsibilities: To undertake a designated programme of teaching across all key stages. Plan teaching in accordance with faculty schemes of work and National Curriculum programmes of study. Assist the Head of Science in managing the department and curriculum. Teach Science across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5. Develop engaging and inspiring science lessons that challenge and motivate students. Support the development of the science curriculum and teaching strategies. Mentor and support other science teachers within the department. Ensure high standards of teaching and learning in science. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience as a Science Teacher, with leadership responsibilities. Strong subject knowledge across all science disciplines. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
