Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Your new company Hays are excited to be partnering with this public services organisation, who are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. Your new role As the FP&A Analyst, you will provide senior management with a forecast of the organisation's cash flow, profit and loss. Some of the key responsibilities include: Responsible for financial management and reporting of your business areas costs Providing support to stakeholders across the division on expenditure, budgeting, budget applications, forecasting and reporting of costs Collate and produce month-end journals for accruals, balance sheet reconciliation, staff recharges and summary utilisation report Provide quarterly billing and reconciliation of project spends, produce invoices and project spend reports Monitor costs to ensure they are within budget Provide detailed analysis and commentary on your business area and division results. Manage the cash flow forecast Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts What you'll need to succeed Finalist or newly qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA or ACCA) Experience of Workday (Preferable) Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes Proficient with excel and financial modelling Strong analytical and problem-solving skills What you'll get in return A competitive salary of £55,900 and generous benefits, including; - 30 days annual leave bank holidays/ - up to 10% employer pension contribution What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
