Mobile Repair Tech (Body Repairs) Location: Reading Area Salary: £40,000 About the Role: Being mobile you’ll be on the road each day visiting private and business customers alike to perform high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs in your own personalised mobile workshop. All with the full support of a team that’s built around you. If you don’t have an IMI accreditation, don’t worry, we will even allow you to work towards a Cosmetic Repair IMI Accreditation. Additional Information: * Van: Vauxhall Vivaro // Mercedes Sprinters * Gazebo: Metal Framed Gazebo (3×3 or 3×4.5) * Dent-pulling equipment: GYS + Keco glue kit * Typical work type (varies by area): 80% insurance and fleet, 10% retail, 10% dealership and trade * Shift types: Monday – Friday, weekend overtime is optional Requirements: Good knowledge and application of fillers Good knowledge and use of pin-pulling equipment Have multi-skilled body repair knowledge Willingness to work long hours where necessary Minimum 2 years of painting, panel and MET experience Minimum 1-year mobile repair experience Be confident in painting large jobs and be able to make accurate blends A self-motivated individual and able to work on their initiative Hard-working Has great attention to detail Been customer-facing in former roles Prepared to travel daily Good timekeeper Happy being outdoors as this job role is MOBILE Benefits: Can be self-employed or PAYE Starting Basic Salary: £40k per annum Company Van With Personalised Workshop Equipment Company Tablet Company Pension Scheme Ongoing training & and support Career Progression Full Uniform 20 days holiday plus any bank holidays (Pro-Rata) If the Multi-skilled Automotive Technician job role seems like something you might be interested in, please get in touch with us, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!
