The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Design & Technology Technician to join our innovative DT department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across all areas of Design Technology.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and organize workshop equipment, tools, and materialsPrepare resources and set up equipment for practical lessonsAssist teaching staff during practical sessions when requiredEnsure health and safety compliance in all workshop areasMaintain stock levels and order suppliesService and maintain machinery, including routine checks
Essential Requirements
Experience in a workshop environmentStrong knowledge of workshop machinery and toolsUnderstanding of health and safety regulationsGood organizational and time management skills
Desirable Requirements
Previous experience in an educational settingKnowledge of CAD/CAM equipmentFirst aid qualificationRelevant technical qualificationEither live in West Drayton or within a commutable distance
