Hospitality Manager

"We are seeking a strong, hands-on hospitality leader for the Hospitality team at a leading Asset Manager. The successful candidate will bring with them a wealth of experience in a similar, fast paced and high calibre environment. A positive, can-do approach and calm, welcoming persona is essential. As Hospitality manager, you will be responsible for managing your team and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospitality business as well as the events. The candidate will be report to the Chef Manager on site, collaborate very closely with him and the wider client-side team. They will be responsible for the smooth running of the business and delivering a best-in-class client experience. Key responsibilities include: Management and delivery of the daily hospitality service to the client's eighteen meeting rooms and multiple event spaces Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and health and safety. Adhering to company policies Managing inventory for food, beverage and equipment Planning and management of events - both internal and external, including menu ideas, sourcing of theming props and equipment, ordering and arranging additional staff Administration including emails and preparing quotations - approximately 20% of the role will involve administrative tasks. Responsibility for the vending services - including bean to cup coffee, water and snack & can machines Delivery of the staff kitchen services and re-stocking of the pantries The successful candidate will remain courteous and respectful with an exceptional attention to detail in this fast-paced and flexible environment. They will also have a good working knowledge of wine and a passion for fine dining, hospitality and delivering memorable experiences. Reliability and flexibility are key, as we typically host 1 or 2 afternoon/evening events each week, ranging from intimate gatherings to larger events with over 250 attendees, often on our Roof Terrace overlooking Victoria."
