Do you have experience in managing a team and delivering care services? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Home Care Manager in Bootle, UK.
As a Home Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of care and support services to individuals within their own homes. With a focus on providing person-centered care, you will ensure that our clients receive the best possible care and support to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities of this Home Care Manager position will include:
* Manage a team of care workers and ensure the delivery of circa 2000 hours of care per week.
* Develop and maintain care plans for each client, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.
* Conduct regular assessments to identify any changes in clients' needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
* Recruit, train, and supervise care staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Monitor and maintain the quality of care provided, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of the service.
The ideal person for this Home Care Manager will need:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Completed QCF Level 5 in social care management or equivalent.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
* Compassionate, empathetic, and patient.
* Proficient in IT and record-keeping.
