Housing Administrator

My client is looking for a Housing Administrator to offer administrative support to the housing management team, helping to maintain high standards of service delivery. You will be the first point of contact for tenants and service providers, responding to inquiries, processing housing applications, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the day-to-day running of housing services.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment and enjoys working with a diverse group of people.

The Role
Act as the first point of contact for tenant queries, providing information on housing services, rent, maintenance requests, and other relevant matters.
Assist with the processing of housing applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and applications are handled efficiently.
Support the team with rent collection, issuing rent statements, and addressing any rent-related queries or issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenancy agreements, housing applications, rent payments, and maintenance requests.
Liaise with internal teams, external service providers, and contractors to arrange repairs, maintenance, and other housing-related services.
Provide administrative support to the housing team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and handling paperwork related to housing management.

The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in an administrative role is essential, with experience in housing or property management being highly desirable.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, colleagues, and external partners.
Excellent organisational abilities, with a knack for prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and housing management software (training provided if necessary).
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
A proactive approach to identifying and solving issues, ensuring that tenants receive timely responses and resolutions.
