Sen Teaching Assistant

I am recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants in Kidderminster and the surrounding areas! If you have experience working with children with special needs in a school or similar setting, Aspire want to hear from you! As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: * Support pupils in the classroom, in small groups, and on a 1:1 basis. * Use positive reinforcement techniques and behaviour-based instruction confidently. * Follow specialized support plans to help children reach their full potential. * Assist the teacher with tasks such as marking and delivering lessons. The ideal candidate will have: * Have experience or a passion for working with children with SEN * Be flexible, proactive and patient * Be nurturing and caring in your approaches * Be able to communicate effectively within a team * Have a Background in Education, Care, Psychology or Drama, as these are very transferable. * Training or experience in non-verbal communication is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential.
