Trainee Financial Advisor
Location: Worcester, with travel to Meridan (Head Office) and frequent travel across Worcester and other locations
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious **Trainee Financial Advisor** to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced Paraplanner who is Level 4 qualified and is looking to take the next step in their career. You will work closely with the Director, providing comprehensive support while training to become a fully qualified Financial Advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Paraplanning Support: Work as the Director’s primary Paraplanner, handling all paraplanning duties including research, report writing, and preparing client-facing documents.
- Client Meetings: Travel extensively with the Director to attend face-to-face meetings with clients. You will assist in presenting financial plans, taking notes, and ensuring all client requirements are captured accurately.
- Client Relationship Management: Begin building relationships with clients alongside the Director, as some clients will eventually transition to your advisory portfolio.
- Advisory Duties: As part of your training, you will gradually take on advisory responsibilities, helping to develop financial plans and offering advice under supervision.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities to progress towards becoming a fully independent Financial Advisor.
Requirements:
- Paraplanning Experience: Must have prior experience working as a Paraplanner, with a solid understanding of the financial planning process.
- Level 4 Qualified: A minimum of a Level 4 qualification in Financial Planning (such as the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning) is essential.
- Travel Flexibility: The role requires significant travel across Worcester and surrounding areas for client meetings, with one day per week at the Meridan head office.
-Client-Focused: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients are crucial.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively, especially in a home-based setting.
