What this school are looking for:
- Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic, engaging, and passionate about teaching young people Geography.
- A professional manner and a flexible attitude.
- Strong behaviour management and the ability to implement schools' behaviour polices is also essential.
- Deliver engaging and creative Geography lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or Humanities related field.
- Recent experience teaching Geography or Humanities at secondary school level.
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Strong behaviour/classroom management.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
