Lettings Property Manager (PRS)
Location: Southend on Sea, Essex
Salary: £25,000 p/a - (10-month Fixed Term Contract)

We are seeking a dedicated Lettings Property Manager for a 10-month fixed-term contract to help manage the day-to-day operations of our letting s portfolio. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy ensuring seamless property management, this role is for you.
Main Purpose of the Job:
You will be responsible for a range of administrative and financial tasks, including managing utilities, handling daily banking, and providing property management support. Your attention to detail and proactive attitude will help keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Void Utilities & Council Tax Management: Ensure accurate reporting of meter readings and tenancy changes. Audit invoices and process payments.
- Service Charge Assistance: Assist with service charge invoices, maintaining up-to-date system files.
- Insurance Management: Track and log building insurance certificates for the property portfolio.
- Daily Banking & Post Management: Process daily banking transactions and manage post, ensuring compliance with data protection.
- Property Management Support: Handle maintenance and account enquiries, lettings enquiries, and prepare rent cards.
- Ad-hoc Duties: Assist the Lettings Department with any additional tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or lettings administration
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong understanding of financial processes (banking, utilities)
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication abilities
- Problem-solving skills and a team-player attitude
