Initial 1-year Primary Class Teaching Assistant contracts starting September 2024 A Primary Class Teaching Assistant can earn between £480.80- £510 per week | Paid weekly on a PAYE basis Primary Class Teaching Assistant role – Perfect for Aspiring Primary Teachers Supporting pupils with their learning on a whole-class, 1:1 and small-group basis within the classroom Use strategies effectively and be able to work using your initiative while following policies and procedures A Primary Class Teaching Assistant will take direction from the Teacher based on the needs of the class Primary Class Teaching Assistant | About the school:

The successful Primary Class Teaching Assistant will secure a role at one of our wonderful Primary Schools in Harrow You will work under the guidance of a supportive SENCO and Senior Leadership Team to provide an inclusive education to all pupils. You will be required to provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils who require extra help in the classroom. Patience, understanding, empathy and the ability to build a positive rapport with Primary-aged pupils are essential in this role. The school have been rated as 'Good', but are on their journey to 'Outstanding' This is the ideal role for a Primary Class Teaching Assistant hopeful who plans to become a Primary Teacher, and the school will provide ongoing support and training to help you confidently apply for PGCE programmes in the future.
