Fire Stopping Site Manager

This Fire Stopping Site Manager role is a unique opportunity to learn project/contract management skills with a forward-thinking fire-protection contractor. This role would be ideal for a fire stopping site supervisor/surveyor looking to progress their career in the fire protection sector. Responsibilities: * Mobile Fire Stopping Site Manager covering multiple projects across South Wales + Bristol/Bath * Average of 2 days/week office based in Caerphilly; 3 days/week site based * Recruiting staff/operatives for sites * Surveying prospective and current jobs * Quality control of all-aspects of fire stopping works including batt and mastic, fire curtains, wall penetrations, and compound for floor penetrations * Costing jobs for clients (support/training can be provided for this) * Ongoing monitoring of budgets and resource * Client liaison including pre-start meetings and client relationship management * Liaising and reporting to senior management team/s on project progress and updates Candidate requirements: * Passive fire protection/fire stopping trade background * NVQ L2 or above in Passive Fire Protection * CSCS * Site supervisory experience including running sites and managing direct and sub-contract labour * SSSTS/SMSTS * Experience liaising with clients * DBS, or prepared to get a DBS if successful * Knowledge and experience with Hilti products and applications * Knowledge and experience of working to FIRAS/BM TRADA standards (accreditation desired but not essential) Package: * Permanent contract, standard 40hr working week * Up to £44,000/year * Company vehicle and fuel card * 20 days holiday + bank holidays and five-day Christmas shut-down period About the company: The organisation fosters a culture of safety and excellence, where skilled professionals collaborate to provide innovative fire protection solutions.
