Job Title: Driver’s Mate Location: G32 8RF, Cambuslang Salary: £11.44 per hour (Overtime £17.16 per hour after 48 hours) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (6–7 AM start) Start Date: ASAP Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver’s Mate to join our team based in Cambuslang (G32 8RF). This is a full-time position with immediate start available, supporting drivers on deliveries and ensuring that goods are delivered efficiently and safely. The role involves physically demanding tasks, so it’s important you are comfortable with manual handling and lifting. Key Responsibilities: * Assisting the driver with loading and unloading deliveries. * Ensuring goods are delivered in a timely and professional manner. * Navigating routes and helping with any directions as needed. * Completing paperwork and communicating effectively with customers. * Maintaining a safe and clean working environment. What We’re Looking For: * Physically fit and able to handle a demanding role. * Punctual, reliable, and willing to start early (6–7 AM). * Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team. * Previous experience as a Driver’s Mate or in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
