Pertemps are currently recruiting for 5 HGV Class 1 Drivers to work for our well-established distribution client based in Coventry. The role involves the delivery of goods across the UK for one of the UKs leading logistics providers, on site at their customers National DC.

HGV Class 1 Driver
Pertemps are currently recruiting for 5 HGV Class 1 Drivers to work for our well-established distribution client based in Coventry. The role involves the delivery of goods across the UK for one of the UKs leading logistics providers, on site at their customers National DC.
Hours/Rates:
- Day shift, starting between 02:00 and 04:00
- 12 hour + shifts
- 17.50 - 20.00 per hour PAYE
- 50 additional shift bonus for Saturday/Sunday shifts
- Weekends form part of the standard working week, rest periods midweek
As an HGV Class 1 Driver your duties will include:
- 2 - 3 Store Deliveries daily, across the UK
- Ensuring accurate and timely collections and deliveries from stores and depots
- Conducting thorough vehicle checks each morning
- Handball and Pump truck work required at all deliveries

To be considered for this HGV Class 1 role you will need:
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- 1 year HGV driving experience, Licence held for 2 years
- No more than 6 points
- To be flexible with availability
