As part of the Global Product Marketing team, the Associate Marketing Manager helps to drive revenue and profit for the global Secondary product portfolio at Hodder Education. The portfolio includes educational resources for UK and International curriculums across a range of subjects and age ranges.
What you'll be doing
- The Associate Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing and reporting on pre-launch, launch and post-launch marketing strategy for UK and international markets.
- Using the full range of print and digital marketing channels, the Associate Marketing Manager will draw on best practices to deliver customer-focused, lead and revenue generating campaigns.
- They will also deliver sales and marketing toolkits to support the product lifecycle from pre-launch through to launch and post launch.
- They will work closely with the Product and Sales Teams, as well as authors, agencies and other third parties.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Examples of developing and executing successful comprehensive digital product marketing campaigns with global reach that drive revenue and achieve business objectives.
- Strategic thinking and commercial awareness with an understanding of what it means to 'bring a product to life' for prospects and customers.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop and maintain partnerships with key influencers and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, and delivering results within tight deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter with ownership mentality and confident in managing key stakeholders, and comfortable briefing freelancers and agencies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing market trends and business needs.
Desirable
- Previous marketing experience in retail marketing and/or educational/edtech marketing is desirable, but not essential.
- Experience in using CRM systems e.g. Salesforce and or HubSpot or similar, in any industry.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, social media and email marketing automation software.
