IT Service Manager required to join our client in the National Security & Defence sector based in Cheltenham. This role requires up to 10% travel.
Please note, for this role sole UK citizenship is required and candidates must posses current eDV (UK*C) Clearance.
You'll join a busy, established and growing IT Service Management team within our clients Defence & Intelligence division. This role is vital to the support and delivery of existing and future critical services for their end customers.
Key Duties:
You'll be responsible for the management of all incidents and requests
You will be responsible for maximising the number of successful IT changes by ensuring that risks have been properly assessed, authorising changes to proceed, and managing the change schedule.
You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable information about the configuration of services, and responsible for maintaining a single source of consistent information on all services.
You'll be accountable in the design of products and services helping to ensure that they are fit for purpose, and that they can be delivered
You'll identify and explore opportunities for continual service improvements.
We're looking for someone with:
A demonstrable track record of Incident, Change and Release management.
Experience across the service delivery life-cycle, including Service Transition.
ITIL v3 and v4 Qualifications.
Extensive experience of IT Service Management Tools.
Experience of supporting IT projects in complex and challenging environments.
