Portfolio Manager - Bridging Finance

Central London Hybrid working Our client, a highly successful specialist lender is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee the management and recovery of their bridging loan portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loan management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting our clients throughout their borrowing journey. Key Responsibilities: Manage the collections process for overdue loans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop strategies to minimise defaults and maximize recoveries. Liaise with clients to negotiate payment plans and settlements. Monitor and report on loan performance metrics. Collaborate with the underwriting and risk management teams to assess loan recovery potential. Maintain accurate records of client communications and payment statuses. Key Requirements: Proven experience in collections, servicing or loan management within the financial services sector. Strong understanding of bridging finance products and market dynamics. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to analyse financial data and assess risk. Proficient in using loan management systems and MS Office Suite
