About the role: KS2 Teaching Assistant: Are you passionate about supporting children and making a difference in their educational journey? We are looking for an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Finchley, London. This is a part-time position, perfect for those who want to work closely with students, helping them thrive in both academics and personal development. In this role, you will focus on boosters and interventions, providing small group or 1:1 support to children who need that extra push to reach their potential. Your dedication will play a key role in helping students achieve their goals, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN). Application Requirements: • Previous experience working with Key Stage 2 students. • A passion for education and a desire to see all children succeed. • Experience with SEN or interventions is beneficial but not essential. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. • Ability to start ASAP. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the classroom, working closely with the teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment. • Deliver intervention sessions for students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and social development. • Support students with SEN needs, ensuring they receive the tailored support necessary to help them excel. • Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging confidence, participation, and a love of learning. • Help with classroom management and ensure a safe and positive space for all pupils.
