Are you a recently graduated Civil Engineer looking to start a career down the planning route? Or Are you a degree qualified Site Engineer looking to move permanently into the office as an Assistant Planner? I am working with an established civil engineering contractor who are looking to take on a degree qualified ciivl engineer with a keen interest in Planning. With a strong forward order book with plenty more tenders in the works, they are increasing the size of the work winning department to adjust to the increase in workload. As the Assistant Planner you will be responsible for: Creating, amending, updating, and developing construction programmes detailing activity-based lists of sequential works with milestones, start/finish dates, durations, critical paths, resources, and labour/plant/material resources. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders and addressing potential changes and obstacles to the programme. Analysing potential programme risks, developing contingency plans to mitigate disruptions to project schedules, and providing recommendations and solutions to keep projects on track.
