Production Scheduler Location: Ely Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Salary: £12.65ph Duration: 3-month fixed-term contract Start: ASAP Our client, a global leader in their industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join their dynamic team on an initial fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with expertise in production coordination or scheduling to play a critical role in driving efficiency and ensuring seamless operations within a fast-paced environment. Who are we? We are Busy Bee Recruitment, an awarding-winning recruitment agency supplying both temporary and permanent staffing solutions throughout the UK to our wonderful client base Duties: * Booking in works orders and sub-assemblies accurately * Daily processing of sales and intercompany orders * Printing and distributing works orders to relevant departments * Scheduling works orders to meet production capacity * Identifying raw material shortages and collaborating with purchasing to expedite deliveries * Managing general sales inquiries and confirming product availability * Reviewing late orders and working with production and shipping teams to prioritise * Assisting purchasing with component orders * Working alongside engineering to handle special customer requests * Collaborating with quality teams to process quarantine orders * Maintaining and updating AX system settings * Supporting the planning team in reviewing and adjusting global stock minimums Skills & Experience: * Proven experience in production coordination or scheduling * Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Effective communication skills, both written and verbal * A proactive, hands-on approach and a can-do attitude * Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles * The flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced production environment * Strong IT skills, with experience in ERP systems If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
