We are looking for a committed and empathetic SEN Learner Assistant to join our team at a primary SEND school in Lambeth, London. Key Duties: Provide personalized support to students with SEN, assisting them in reaching their academic and personal goals. Work closely with teachers to follow and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt strategies to suit each child's learning needs. Help foster a warm and inclusive classroom environment, focusing on the social and emotional well-being of all pupils. Assist in classroom activities, ensuring students receive an engaging and supportive learning experience. Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and stakeholders, offering updates on student progress.Candidate Profile: Prior experience working with SEN students is preferred but not essential. A patient, caring attitude and a genuine interest in supporting children with diverse learning needs. Flexibility in adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is desirable due to the school's location in Lambeth.Salary & Benefits: This role offers a competitive daily rate between £90 and £100, depending on your experience and qualifications.
