Senior Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team on the Meridian Water Programme, one of the largest regeneration projects in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile project, transforming 85 hectares of North London into a vibrant and sustainable mixed-use community. Duties; Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 and other relevant planning tools. Proactively drive the progress of work on site. Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of key project milestones Monitor project progress and report on critical paths, risks, and opportunities. Provide detailed reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders. Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget. Support the development of resource and cost-loaded programmes, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting. Conduct regular reviews of progress against baseline programmes and propose corrective actions as necessary. Person Specification; Proven experience in planning on major infrastructure projects. Tier 1 contract experience. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other relevant software. Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and best practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
