Senior Pensions Implementation Analyst

Help strengthen our Configuration Pension Implementation Team. We are currently looking for a Senior Pensions Implementation Analyst to join our homebased team. You will be working on one of the largest public sector pension schemes in the UK, supporting the execution of the implementation project to a high standard within a controlled project environment. The Configuration Team sit within our Implementation Department whose responsibility it is to implement first class pension administration solutions for our new and existing clients. Our span of projects can range from large blue chip strategic transformational deliveries through to small bespoke client solutions. Working closely with other stakeholders our activities and skills are wide and varied. You will be supporting Project Managers and Implementation Consultants through the efficient delivery of project tasks and mentoring and coaching Implementation Analysts. What you’ll be doing: Analyse Calculation requirements Undertake system configuration, data analysis, and testing Upload and download system data Participate in client meetings and project status calls Liaise with clients, third parties and Capita departments Support the technical development of our technology platforms through participation in new and/or enhanced developments Provide support to the line manager in the effective management of any staff under their direct control Support the production of requirements documentation Facilitate internal and external system training when required What we’re looking for: End to end experience of the project lifecycle - able to describe the key elements of projects including initiation, governance, control and closure and can provide examples of active participation in all of these stages Can draft an automated excel calculator with basic formula Can manipulate data with good data accuracy and able to explain: Pension member records and their set up the relationships between members, Trustees, schemes, actuaries, funds and investments Different types of Pension Schemes Different types of member status' and applicable calculations for each Able to draft and interpret calculation proformas in order to draft scenario matrices to incorporate all relevant scenarios Able to draft and check test plan to detail all expected results and system updates About Capita Pensions Solutions: At Capita Pension Solutions (CPS), we create and implement resilient and responsible pension strategies to help your organisation and your people look forward to a more secure financial future.
