Potential start dates November - Jan 2025 We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Golang Developer to the team. In this role you'll tackle complex challenges daily, working on both innovative new solutions and continuous improvement of existing systems. Our clients environment involves collaboration with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and leverages advanced technologies including Go, Kubernetes, Docker, eBPF, and more. The Role: As a Golang Developer with our client, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and securing their ground breaking products. We're seeking individuals who are not only technically proficient but posses deep analytical skills, capable of owning entire technical solutions from problem/spec to delivery. About Our Client: Our client, a forward-thinking tech startup with less than two years in the industry, is making huge strides with its modern tech stack encompassing eBPF, Kubernetes, and Golang. Technologies our client Work With: Major cloud providers: AWS, GCP, Azure Cutting-edge technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Neo4j, ElasticSearch, Redis, TimescaleDB, RabbitMQ, and more Responsibilities: Customer Focus: Work closely with product management to implement features based on customer feedback and requests. End-to-End Project Ownership: Manage all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial concept through design, development, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance. Technical Leadership: Provide input on architectural decisions and perform code reviews to maintain high standards of quality. System Optimization: Evaluate and improve backend systems for enhanced performance, scalability, and reliability. eBPF Sensor Development: Design and optimize eBPF-based sensors to enhance Kubernetes cluster visibility and support proactive threat detection. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with frontend, backend, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features and solutions. Ideal Candidate: EU citizenship or valid work permit. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of operating system internals, Linux networking, and file systems. 3+ years of experience in software engineering using high-level programming languages (e.g., Golang, Java, C, Python). 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes. Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience building data-intensive systems such as databases, event systems, or messaging systems. Familiarity with microservices-based architecture. Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing eBPF code.
