Project Manager - Mid-Senior level

Project Manager We are working with a respected Herefordshire-based client for a talented Project Manager to join their growing team. You will be delivering a range of projects working within both waterfall and agile framework. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working across complex projects including but not limited to IT focused projects What you can expect; * Salary: Highly competitive * Hours: Full-time hybrid working (3 days per week) * Benefits: Product discounts, generous holidays and critical illness cover What you will be doing: * Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders * Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, managing resources * Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives * Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies * Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget * Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, and status updates to stakeholders * Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction * Coordinate with external vendors or contractors as needed * Conduct post-project evaluations and create recommendations for future projects * Implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve project outcomes What we are looking for * Project management certifications ideally waterfall and agile * 5+ years of project management experience including IT and non IT focused projects Proficiency in project management tools - Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project, Trello * Proven experience in managing complex projects with cross-functional team, Digital project management experience would be highly desirable * Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines * Experience of working with third party suppliers and inhouse software development teams Recruitment Direct are working as an employment business in relation to this vacancy, you must be able to prove your legal right to work in the UK to apply
