Permanent position - Monday - Friday Role is based in Belfast Salary Negotiable Salary + Fantastic Benefits Package Job Purpose Identify growth opportunities within the operational area, focusing on expanding existing key client relationships. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure high satisfaction with the services provided. Monitor department issues and client complaints to identify patterns and reduce recurring problems. Develop a thorough understanding of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring that the operational department remains compliant. Oversee the approval process to ensure it is completed promptly. Review each incoming invoice, returning it for corrections if needed, and acknowledging it when accurate. Verify purchase order (PO) numbers before processing invoices. Develop and maintain a payment system that ensures timely payments, avoiding penalties, and coordinating with the quantity surveyor. Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring timely payment of outstanding balances. Collaborate with other departments to verify and record transactions, and resolve account discrepancies. Document procedures for third-party monitoring. Review workloads to ensure targets are met. Plan, schedule, and review workloads to ensure targets are met in a cost-effective manner. Ensure staff working on processes are operating efficiently. Oversee procurement and daily operations planning. Facilitate collaboration among all business functions. Initiate and monitor operational projects. Coordinate activities that impact operational decisions and business requirements.
