Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical and electrical components and systems.
- Work with 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create detailed design drawings and models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop prototypes and implement design changes.
- Support project management by preparing documentation and reports.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve product quality and functionality.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, customer specifications, and company quality requirements.
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Design Engineering (or similar discipline).
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- An eagerness to learn and grow within the role, taking on new challenges.
- Some experience (internship or placement) in a design or engineering role.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
