Location: Lydd, your own transport is required due to the location of our client
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Salary: 25,000 - 35,000 DOE

Your role as an Estimator will be to:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, taking into account materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to create comprehensive quote estimates.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Supervisors, Draughtsmen, and other team members to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Assess project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential cost overruns.
- Review and validate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Maintain and update cost databases and records of past project performances.
- Participate in bid reviews and presentations, providing clear and concise explanations of cost estimates.
- Monitor and track project costs during execution to ensure adherence to budgets and identify any variances.
What you'll need:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry or similar.
- Strong understanding of projects and related cost factors.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
