Can plan and lead a variety of outdoor activities which encourage children to be physically active during lunchtimes. Recognises and celebrates the uniqueness of every child within our school, tailoring the activities they provide to meet every child’s needs. Uses positive behaviour management strategies and demonstrates a compassionate and restorative approach to dealing with behaviours. Has the skills to work with colleagues, (including DRAs) to ensure our playground is a happy and safe place for all children. Is physically able to carry out this active outdoor role. Is able to demonstrate that their personal values align with those of our school. Will actively contribute to school life and the wider community. Possesses a sense of humour, positive outlook and has empathy. Is a reflective practitioner who recognises the importance of professional learning.
