We are looking for an interim Project Support Officer to join us initially for 6 months based in North Birmingham paying £20ph on an inside IR35 basis. 1-2 days a week on site is needed
The Project Support Officer provides project and programme management capability, delivering projects for the organisation. Our well-qualified award-winning teams manage a wide range of projects throughout their lifecycle to deliver outcomes for flood risk and resilience, wildlife, nature, and our communities. This post sits within a team of Project Executives, Project Managers and Project Support Officers who manage the day-to-day delivery of projects within using our framework suppliers.
- A Levels (or equivalent) are desirable - Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic - Innovative and able to improve existing processes - Excellent communication skills - Highly organised, ability to use initiative and manage own time - Able and willing to coordinate activities with others - Proficient in use of the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular PowerPoint, Excel and MS Teams, Prince 2 - Knowledge or experience in the use of SharePoint would be advantageous but not essential - An ability to analyse, interpret and display data, so it can be effectively presented preferred - Some knowledge or experience of commercial and contract management and financial processes would be useful - Able to work under pressure, prioritising workload and meeting deadlines
