Are you ready to make an impact?About The RoleAs a Director at FTI Consulting, you will be responsible for the lead day-to-day projects for Discovery Consulting team, based in our London office. You will manage all phases of eDiscovery projects and be a key client contact for projects, supported by senior members of the team as required.What You’ll DoAs a Director, you will:· Be a key client contact across several accounts, scoping their requirements and then managing teams of juniors to meet the client’s needs.· Co-ordinate closely with colleagues within and across teams to manage client requirements· Be responsible for the successful delivery on engagements from beginning to end· Be customer-service-oriented and meet client deadlines, working out of business hours when necessary· Liaise with clients and project managers regarding client requests and expectations· Lead and mentor the Discovery Consulting team, providing feedback and guidance on their technical and personal development· Contribute to the business development activities of the Technology practice, such as pitching for new work and building relationships with clients· Travel as required to ensure effective case management (minimal notice possible)How You’ll Grow We value your growth and offer you many opportunities to develop your skills and career. You will:· Work on challenging engagements and show initiative to define our working standards· Have a career coach who will help you with your transition, career development, and professional certifications· Work and learn from industry leaders who have been recognised as Consulting Experts by Who’s Who Legal from 2016 – 2020, and as the best end-to-end eDiscovery Provider by The Recorder in 2019.What You Will Need to Succeed To be a successful Director, you will need:· A degree (or equivalent) in a technology, numerate or business-related subject· Solid experience working in an eDiscovery or technology related role for 5+ years· Deep experience in leading teams of junior members of staff and successfully delegating tasks and meeting deadlines· Experience in managing client requirements, timelines, budgets and other delivery-related aspects of eDiscovery projects· Knowledge of using either Nuix Discover or Relativity as a document review management application· Ability to solve complex problems with well thought out, innovative solutions· Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment· Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support the team’s goals above individual goals· Excellent communication and client-facing skills#LI-KR2#LI-HybridOur BenefitsOur goal is to support the well–being of you and your families—physically, emotionally, and financially.
