Job title: Principal Quality Inspector
Location: Liverpool (Birkenhead) On-site
What you'll be doing:
- Carry out welding inspections and structural inspections in line with Supplier ITP requirements
- Responsible for conducting conditions management and customer walk-round audits and developing and coaching others
- Fully participate in the development, maintenance and modification of processes and procedures in assigned areas
- Utilise calibrated measuring equipment to assess and measure tolerances of the product and record any non-conformance; awareness of the risks associated with using uncalibrated equipment and ensure effective dissemination across the inspection team(s) and cross functionally where required
- Responsible for leading the verification of all non-conformances
- Perform on the job process verification audit and surveillances
- Verification & approval of manufacturing record books
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- CSWIP Welding Inspector (3:1)
- Structural Inspection experience
- Stakeholder Management experience
Desirable
- NDE inspection experience
- SAP experience
- Full UK driving license
- MPI certificate
- ICORR Level 1
