Job title: Principal Quality Inspector

Location: Liverpool (Birkenhead) On-site

What you'll be doing:

  • Carry out welding inspections and structural inspections in line with Supplier ITP requirements
  • Responsible for conducting conditions management and customer walk-round audits and developing and coaching others
  • Fully participate in the development, maintenance and modification of processes and procedures in assigned areas
  • Utilise calibrated measuring equipment to assess and measure tolerances of the product and record any non-conformance; awareness of the risks associated with using uncalibrated equipment and ensure effective dissemination across the inspection team(s) and cross functionally where required
  • Responsible for leading the verification of all non-conformances
  • Perform on the job process verification audit and surveillances
  • Verification & approval of manufacturing record books

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • CSWIP Welding Inspector (3:1)
  • Structural Inspection experience
  • Stakeholder Management experience

Desirable

  • NDE inspection experience
  • SAP experience
  • Full UK driving license
  • MPI certificate
  • ICORR Level 1
