Our client is a bespoke delivery service specializing in ambient, chilled, and frozen food deliveries. They are currently seeking an experienced 7.5t Driver to join their team. This role involves multi-drop deliveries, with up to 35 drops per day, across various locations, including London.
As a 7.5t Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality service, ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and on time. You will be responsible for driving a 7.5t vehicle and interacting with customers, making customer-facing skills a key part of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle to deliver ambient, chilled, and frozen foods
- Complete up to 35 drops per day across various locations, including London
- Provide excellent customer service as the face of our client during deliveries
- Handle goods, including manual loading/unloading (handballing)
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Adhere to all driving regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Valid 7.5t (C1) driving license with CPC qualification and a digital tachograph card
- Experience in multi-drop deliveries (up to 35 drops per day preferred)
- Comfortable navigating and driving in London
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts
