Job Title: Building Surveyor Location: Bath Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor based in Bath on a permanent basis. What makes this a great opportunity? Join one of the world's best privately-owned, globally respected, multi-disciplinary engineering and advisory services consultancies Project lead some of the UK and the world's most technically impressive, award-winning and architecturally iconic projects across all mainstream building sectors Develop and apply your client-facing leadership skills in a highly talented, growing integrated multi-disciplinary team Work 3 days per week in a brand-new workspace designed for optimum collaboration and comfort Work from home 2 days per weekKey Responsibilities: * Acting as a point of contact for clients and internal collaborators in respect to Asset Consultancy services. * Gathering requirements and consulting with clients to scope out proposals and bids. * Taking responsibility for Project set up and planning across Asset Consultancy commissions. * Providing pre-acquisition and post-occupancy advice to clients across multiple sectors and a wide range of building types. * Developing strategic, technically based reports and plans which address client challenges; implementing and monitoring recommendations through the project life cycle. * Preparation of condition surveys, forward maintenance plans, dilapidation schedules, defect analyses, system diagnostics reports, schedules of condition and the monitoring of the subsequent works processes. What you need: Chartered Building Surveyor (RICS) with experience in facilities management/property consultancy. Bachelors degree (BEng) / BSc or Masters degree (MEng) / MSc in relevant discipline. Mobility to travel at short notice.
