The below job description will outline this position of: ROV Electronics Technician Typically, this person will be installing control system upgrades to ROVs, Trenchers and Ploughs as well as troubleshooting any discrepancies that arise in specific ROV systems. This could be UK and worldwide HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and responsibilities of the ROV Electronics Technician: • Assembly of systems on test bench for testing and set up purposes • Prepare and conduct client visit FAT • Commission FAT’d system in Client ROV at client premises / vessel – worldwide Qualifications and requirement for the ROV Electronics Technician: • Offshore experience with Triton XL or XLS ROV • Electronics qualification HNC/HND • Ability to design simple interfacing circuits as required • Ability to design sensor simulators and other circuit board test loads • Programming experience of embedded controllers This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
