Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional primary school known for its commitment to educational excellence. The successful candidate will work alongside skilled educators to support student learning, encourage positive behaviors, and contribute to a thriving school environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups, assisting with classroom activities to meet learning objectives. - Work closely with teachers to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, adapting resources and strategies to meet diverse needs. - Support students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they receive targeted assistance and encouragement. - Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among students. - Contribute to lesson planning and assessment by offering feedback on student progress and learning outcomes. - Assist with the preparation of educational materials, classroom displays, and other resources as needed. - Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students. Requirements: - Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a primary school setting, is required. - Strong understanding of primary education and child development principles. - Experience working with children who have additional needs (SEN experience is highly desirable). - Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff, students, and parents. - Patience, adaptability, and a positive approach to learning. - Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certification, are preferred.
