About the Role The Senior Finance Analyst will collaborate with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to maintain a reliable financial planning and analysis function. This role will support the CFO and senior leadership team by providing financial insights and analysis to facilitate informed decision-making. Skills and Qualifications Required Qualified/Part-Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with experience in management reporting and variance analysis. Strong financial modelling, budgeting, and strategic planning skills, with a proven ability to drive process improvements. Adaptable to technological changes in a fast-paced environment, with advanced Excel skills and solid systems knowledge. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills for presenting financial data to diverse stakeholders. Self-motivated, highly organised, and capable of multitasking while managing deadlines. Key Responsibilities Support the annual budgeting process, including developing templates, budget models, and coordinating timelines with the CFO and senior leadership. Assist with quarterly reforecasts and maintain a financial planning model integrating P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow forecasts over five years. Enhance financial planning systems and tools. Prepare and analyse monthly revenue reports for the Commercial team, comparing Business Unit performance against budgets and reforecasts, and lead meetings to discuss variances. Deliver timely financial reports and presentations for stakeholders, support consolidation of financial data for performance reporting, and ensure accuracy in collaboration with the Financial Accounting team. Create financial models to evaluate business opportunities and support scenario analysis for strategic decisions. Gather information for the annual renewal of insurance policies. Assist with the company's annual statutory audit and pricing scheme audits. Identify process improvements with the Head of FP&A and stay updated on industry trends in financial management.
